Hello world. It's not often I peak out from behind our Moroccan rugs to say merhaba, but this March 8th 2020 is International Womens Day afterall.
This day is about more than just supporting women, its mindfully choosing to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women's achievements.
Collectively, each one of us can help create a gender-equal world and most importantly, in those parts of the world where women's rights are not at the forefront.
This is one of the reasons why ethical consumerism is so important to www.alittlemorocco.com.au - through fair trade we empower the women makers and artists. It's a small step but a powerful and mindful step towards an equality that needs to happen.
