"Moroccan Boujaad Rug - "Desert Winds" 305x137" has a stunning patina hued colour palate in neutral tones. This peach flavoured Boujaad rug is a rare vintage Moroccan rug. With a bold tribal style patterning offset by a striking black boarder, this vintage Moroccan rug that will sit extremely well in a contemporary style setting.
Made by the peoples of the Boujaad. This rarity of a rug is made with silky soft sheep's wool and has a bordered fringe of goats hair. A low pile, its extremely robust.
Located in the eastern part of the Haouz, the region around Boujaad produces some of the most beautiful Moroccan rugs. They have a similar style to the rugs made around the Middle Atlas, however, the imagery and design within is very different from other regions.
This is a lovely example of a traditional tribal rug from this region of Morocco. A very special one of a kind.

A low pile rug made from 100% all natural Berber sheep's wool and a fringed border of goats hair. Its handcrafted vintage nature means its imbued with small irregularities but of course, this adds to the authenticity of the item.
