Returns and Exchanges


A Little Morocco (“ALM”) takes great pride in the quality of our products, and we want you to love what you’ve purchased. So, if you ("Buyer") receive your purchase and its not suitable please email us at or call us on (+61) 411 381 000 within 48 hours of recoeving your items.

ALM are happy to provide a refund, exchange or credit if the item is not what you were hoping for.  All we ask is that for any "Change of Mind" returns, the Buyer agrees to pay a 10% restocking fee and any incurred shipping costs and the return is undertaken within the time herein stated.  

ALM will arrange a courier to collect your securely packaged items and once it's arrived, ALM will assess the condition and if returned as it was sent out, ALM will process the return.  

Return of "Sale" items (i.e. discounted from full retail price) or "commissioned" & "made-to-order" items (i.e. custom made or individual shipment orders), are exchangeable only at the discretion of ALM.  So please be sure to ask for lots of extra info, to ensure your happy when purchasing these "sale", "commissioned" or "made-to-measure" (custom made) items. This includes promotional discounted items.

ALM specialise in sourcing items that are often handmade and in vintage or antique condition. These pieces may include, hand cut or hand sewn elements as repairs or creative additions, which can appear as a material variance. The colours of the items may also vary as occurs with age, use over time or natural dying processes along with slightly irregular variations in size and shape.

We trust that if you are purchasing from ALM, then you understand that the beauty of these items is in its uniqueness, often meaning they become more precious through its artistry, authenticity and age. For you cannot compare a handmade item from its home of origin, that is aged gracefully and imbued with the artists whimsy, with something off an assembly line that has been mass manufactured.

As we say at ALM, the beauty of these handmade vintage creations, are that they are “perfectly imperfect” and we do not consider that these characteristics are considered faults. However, we are more then happy to provide additional information such as videos or photos prior to purchase, to ensure you have all the product information at hand.

It is understood that if a Product Description has the wording “Vintage”, the buyer understands that this means the item is either, or all of the following; used, aged, faded, discoloured or even repaired.

Likewise, when the wording "Handmade" is used, it may mean the item has either, or all of the following; patchwork, repairs, uneven patterning and variable characteristics consistent to the weaving, painting or whatever craft was used to create the handmade item.

We ask that the Buyer communicates with ALM if they have any concerns or queries prior to purchasing, to satisfy themselves and to avoid any disappointment.


Whilst ALM make every effort to ensure that the item(s) advertised are available and current, it is sometimes beyond ALM’s control if for whatever reason the purchased item(s) are no longer available.  If ALM is unable to deliver to the Buyer the purchased item(s).  Then as soon as able, ALM will offer the Buyer an exchange or refund for the same value of the original purchased item(s).


RETURN REQUEST: In your return request email, please provide the following:

  1. Your invoice/ receipt number
  2. Your name and contact details
  3. The item(s) you would like to return
  4. Photographs of the item showing reasons for the return
  5. The reason you are returning the item(s)
RETURN PROCESS: Once youve emailed your return request, ALM will confirm via email of the return. Once you have received this confirmation from ALM, return the item as instructed to ALM within 7 calendar days for Australian locations.

Please do not return your items without ALM’s return confirmation otherwise we cannot guarantee it will be processed. 

ALM may offer to repair the item(s), provide an exchange item(s) or credit to the same value (less shipping costs) once the returned item(s) are received by ALM and the return is undertaken in accordance with the following:

a) ALM will consider goods returned as set out below:
  • You have made contact with ALM within 48 hours from the time the goods were delivered.
  • The original tags have not been removed.
  • The goods are accompanied by a proof of purchase.
  • The goods have not been worn, used, washed, soiled or damaged in any manner that is not as originally issued by ALM.  
  • The goods are appropriately re-packaged for secure and safe shipping. 
b) ALM’s original shipping charges will be deducted from the value i.e. if item(s) is shipped free under a promotion. ALM will confirm those costs prior to processing refund, credit or replacement.
However, if ALM have sent you the wrong item or if the item sent is deemed by ALM to be faulty. Then ALM will assume all shipping costs.
c) It is highly recommended that the returned items are insured for shipping, as any items lost or damaged in transit, may not be refunded, credited or replaced.
e) For change of mind returns, buyer assumes all shipping costs, including that of the original purchase shipment, return of items and shipping of replacement item(s).

An items refund, return, repair or exchange is subject to Australian consumer law considerations and also compliance that the Buyer agrees to undertaken ALM's Returns & Refunds Policy obligations as set out herein.

ALM assures the Buyer any refund, return, repair or exchange request will be fairly assessed.
